You've obviously recognized the developing trend line in recent years. You're asking all the right questions and it looks like you've received some good answers. I've been asking similar questions. You've read some of the answers I've received. To be perfectly honest, I was amazed at how <i>much</i> Papa was willing to share on this issue once I began asking the right questions. As you pointed out, there is a difference between power and authority, and that difference has largely gone unnoticed by the body of Christ. Until we make the right distinctions and ask the right questions, we will be powerless to change things for the better.
